Hi ppl
im looking at flying over to thailand mid december coming back early jan and flying from manchester or liverpool but manchester prefered and am having no luck getting flights for under a £1000 with any airline. Just wondered if anyone has been during high season before and could offer any alternative prices as this is a bit steep as ive got spending money to find also.

| i tried to get there last christmas,the flights were extortion the longer you leave it the higher they go.i tried booking direct wih the airline and they said you have to book at least 12 months in advance for december as everone gets christmas off,they said the alternative was wait at airport in case someone does'nt turn up and no guarantee they will sell it cheap |

Try and look at flying from Heathrow, or look at 'alternative' airlines.
I have been over there for 5 or the last 6 Christmas periods. This year I paid £423 from Birmingham, not a particular good airline..as long as it gets me there.
Which sites are you looking for flights through?
Try www.traveljungle.co.uk
or www travelsupermarket.co.uk
or www.foundem.co.uk
All of the above sites search multiple agents.
I have booked last minute in the past from Heathrow and 4 years ago got Etihad for £480 flying Christmas Eve.
Last year got Jet airways from Heathrow for £580, booked that in June for Crimbo.
