Hi ,
So the sign board for walking street is history and in its place is a snazzy new sign complete with advert ( Pattaya beer garden ) , is it just me or what , but would`nt it have been cheaper to just buy three bulbs .
Regards Yogi
p.s The question is , for a country where nothing is free .... how much did the huge advert cost ??? .

I read something in a German newspaper ( Pattaya Blatt ) when I was overthere in April... something about a huge video screen they want to build at the entrance of Walking Street with the end of this year.
Don´t know if it was just a rumor or a true story.
Will see if I can find the article in the archive of the online edition. _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

Yup,- that´s it !
Read it again in the online archive of "Pattaya Blatt".
By the way, this paper is just a German edition of the English "Pattaya Mail".
"Wa king Street" in November 2007:

Yes, they have put a huge gantry and screen up - doesn't work of course - but I guess they will get it to work for a few days .... maybe even weeks?
It's a typical piece of foolishness by ex-Mayor Niran.
Still you will be able to watch TV whilst waiting for the pick-up to take you to hospital after the accident you had because your Moto'cycle driver was watching TV!
It's also very ugly! _________________ www.annajet.co.uk |

Have to report that the screen is now working.
Very ugly and inappropriate! _________________ www.annajet.co.uk |
