Hi malifax and welcome to AJ´s forum.
There are many ways to get a transfer from Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya, such as busses and taxi services.
My favorite taxi service is "Mister Toom".
You need to e-mail him ( Mr Toom ) at least one week before you go on travel, and inform him about your full name, your arrival date and time and your airline incl flight number.
Mr Toom himself or one of his drivers will wait for you in the arrival hall, holding a sign on which your name is written.
Mr Toom charges 1200 Baht for the transfer from the airport to Anna Jet or to the entrance of any hotel in Pattaya.
His e-mail address is:
toom39@msn.com
phone ( in Bangkok ): 081-4827148 or 083-0178066 _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
If you are staying at Anna Jet we offer a similar service - 1200 baht inclusive of motorway tolls - but we ask you to pre-pay through the pay pal system (or into my UK bank account).
Like Mike, I wouldn't dream of bothering with the buses! _________________ www.annajet.co.uk |

Maybe I have to add here that Mister Toom´s service is also incl all motorway tolls, while other taxi services use to charge extra for that, in addition to the 1200 or 1500 Baht you have to pay for the transfer itself.
I didn´t know that AJ´s offers a similar service... So, if I would stay at Anna Jet I would book on the "AJ Transfer Service".
But in case you are on a low budget you can go by bus... Found an information on "Bell Travel Service" in the web:
http://www.pattayanewbie.com/bell.html
and at UKBKK:
http://ukbkk.co.uk/forum/index.ph...id=28717&st=0&#entry28717
In any case... think about it,- it´s more relaxed when you use the AJ service or Mister Toom. _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

You´ll get a reply by e-mail from Mr Toom within 24 to 48 hours, incl a JPG attachment with a small map of Suvarnabhumi´s arrival hall on which an x marks the spot where your driver will wait for you.
Don´t be surprised in case the driver is female ! _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

Bell travel is very good i use it as long as its in my time frame when going to pattaya or leaving . used it just this weekend 200 baht take you to bus station in pattaya then go in mini van to hotel .
while i was waiting for bus on level 1 i was hit up by taxi's from 1000 to 400 baht for ride to patts and you can tell them they pay the tolls
but you don't leave till dec so i'm shore everybodies price will change
Have a safe and fun trip
never make plans in thailand |

Another good taxi service... I guess, if Monty says so !
Better cars might be a good point for them, even I had never found anything to complain about Toom´s cars.
But maybe I never expect too much because I don´t drive a car by myself here at home... Car owners might have a different view on things.
Better service... well, this might depend on what you expect on your arrival, beside getting from Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya as fast as possible.
