Anna Jet... The Bar Where Strangers Become FriendsI´ve just returned home from work late at night as usual during summer season... checked my e-mails and had a look for new posts at UKBKK and at AJ´s new forum.
After a long sunny day at the open air swimming pools, working as a lifeguard and technical attendant, and after having a few beers after work with my collegues, I´m feeling in the mood to write something about my personal impressions of Anna Jet.
I´m not too drunk right now... but I better express my thoughts in a simple way:
I walked down the hill back to my home and felt in the mood to go somewhere to have one more drink.
But I did not feel attracted by any bar or pub here at my place... I wanted to go to Anna Jet !
I asked myself why...
Tonight I wasn´t after any girl... I just wanted to go to a nice place.
So, Anna Jet is one of those places which I realy like on this planet, because I found so many friends there.
Of course, the girls are there, and I guess I wouldn´t sleep alone after a quick visit at AJ´s tonight... But I´m also thinking about the friendship I made with the other people I met overthere since the year 2005...
First of all I think about Peter and of course Anna... I remember my chats with Ringo and his girlfriend... Dario from Italy... and all the others I met on my visits.
The fun was all with us... and everybody enjoyed it in his or her own way.
Through AJ´s website I found UKBKK and made friendship with Fussychunk, Montydog, Thaipan and the others...
On my April 2008 trip I got the chance to meet up with board member BigBadBaz... a great guy !
And of course we met together at Anna Jet !
What I wish to say is that I will never miss the friendship with those people now and in future...
I also wish to say Thank You to Anna Jet !
I will definitely come back !
But for tonight, I went back home alone, instead of going to any bar or pub here, and opened a bottle of Mekong... right here in my living room... whilst listening to the music I got from DJ Joe and viewing the photos in the AJ galleries !
Well, those are my thoughts and my humble opinions.
But I´m just a Kraut !

Seriously though, we really enjoy having you as a friend at Anna Jet - if your India trip comes off next year we will miss you.

Perfect postI sometimes feel the same way when im out having a drink and encounter some idiot or am just usually having a bad night out in england. And like you said mike its nice to reminice of the times in annajets where you do infact meet new friends, on my last trip i was playing pool with ringo for about 3 hours straight and we was talking how very diffrent it is from life back home but how much you enjoy that change from the same old shit each day.

Looks like the India trip is canceled, at least for the period of time in March/April 2009 ( ...I´m planning a trip to India later in the same year ).
So, the chances are 90% that I can make it back to Pattaya on 09 March 2009.

 Sorry to hear that you'll be there in march. I'll be in LOS mid jan and in Pattaya the month of Feb. Guess i'll have to go to Krautland again. Would like to do a GOGO crawl with you Peter.  Bringing some of the boys from Canada again!!!

Mike, I think he means that he is sorry he will miss your dates! LOL!

It´s great... eh !?
But maybe you can imagine how much work it is to keep it running... by doing gardeners´work beside the days I work as a lifeguard and cleaner... and dealing with a 50 years old technical section for water recycling, which is more a rusty scrapheap than a fully functional system.
And yes, I work there all summer long, before I begin to work as a cashier at an indoor icerink or join some collegues to look after other sport facilities owned by the municipality.
No need to feel sorry for me... lol.
I still love my job... sometimes !

Yo sneakers... Have we met at AJ´s in past April ?
I was on a Go Go crawl with Peter and some of his friends in one of my last nights in Pattaya.
It was great... Even I suffered from the mother of all hangovers on the next morning... lol !

No Mike; alway spend a little time up north and the month of Feb in Patts.Usually end up with a gal from Joy Bar and Annajet and then pick the lucky gal. Probably spend more time at Peter's this trip. Photos look very good. Maybe marry Jong , then me and Peter will be in-laws. lol
