Roll on NovemberHi Jimmy ,firstly thanks for the messages of support from yourself , Peter and fussy . I am off work for about 8 weeks ( although I expect it to be more ) , in 3 three weeks I go back to see the consultant and I will take it from there .... and yes I am on crutches ( no weight bearing yet ) . This gives me plenty of time to peruse peters pictures and do my homework for November . I look at it this way Jimmy , every week on my arse at home means that I am one week nearer to getting laid in Pattaya in November ...........oh and the best part is I get paid all my salary ...................for " not working " ....life is sweet , it will be even sweeter when I hit Pattaya again though . I was reading in my hospital bed a daily rag talking about airlines putting up prices ...I am sorely tempted to strike while the iron is hot and book another flight for next year before prices go through the roof . I have the same problem as everyone else here and that is trying to co ordinate holidays with others of a like minded nature , this definitely includes you as everytime you are photographed you always have another girl on your arm ( nothing wrong with that in mine and everybody elses books ) , how do you do it !!!! . HallelujahI`m Back at last , after suffering from multiple problems . im back alsojust got back from the lake district i was on an outward bound weekend for a week and a half, sort of a teambuilding excersise structured around the pub with no internet within a thousand miles and no f'in signal on my phone either . coming to PattayaHi all ,after having surgery in mid june I will shortly after to decide wether to come to Pattaya or not this year as the rehab as been horrendous and I have spent over five weeks on my back with my leg up in the air , just to reduce the swelling problem . My situation as not really been helped with an infection that I picked up close to two months ago , but with a three week holiday looming I am now hoping that I may be fit enough to travel . If I don`t travel to Pattaya in November I am hoping that I may be fit by March , but everyday seems to be one step forwards and two steps back and i have decided that if I am not fit enough to work then I should be going on holiday . I had plans this time to travel around Thailand , but I don`t think that will happen this year and i am concerned about my long term prospects as walking is proving to be quite difficult at the moment . If all goes well I`ll be in Pattaya in November .......... if not I`ll be laid up at home with my foot up in the air ............... life is`nt fun anymore , but I suppose only time will tell regards yogi ( yes I am annoyed ) |

Try to be patient and take it easy ! cheers MikeHi Mike ,I having been trying to be positive about everything Mike , but everytime I think that its going to settle down it flares up again, this as had a knock on effect with everything especially using my laptop as I have refrained from using it for weeks as it is difficult to use it with your foot in the air all the time . I still have a chance to make it in November , but I don`t want to be hobbling around Pattaya , especially at night so I will have to decide wether to go in the next 3 - 4 weeks . I have read Mike about your own health issues , ( you don`t wanna hear this Mike ) and your situation is similar to mine as I too went down with arthritis , but i was 32 - 33 at the time and I was like you fit for my age . Has I am at the end of the road as far as surgery goes I don`t envy you one bit , the nightmare that awaits you as you get older. I do hope for your sake that you have seen several doctors / consultants to get the best advice as I guess you want to be a whoremonger ( like jimmy mac ) for years to come lol lol . I am not obviously as concerned about this as much as I only come to Pattaya for the " culture " ( like monty / fussy ) .I will look at March also as it maybe an ideal opportunity to go around Pattaya with you and take in a few bars etc etc , but if people look too long and hard at both of us they may think that they are in the casualty ward of an hospital hahahaha . Thanks for the positive input Mike and I hope to see you in March ......... who knows some of the others who read this might also want to get a tour of Pattaya with someone who has seen it all ( well most of it ) and I may finally get the chance to get lucky in Pattaya !!?? . I´m looking forward to meet some people I know from my various internet activities in coming March... About my own health problem... well, my knee and foot is much better now and I have already resumed my duties at work and my private activities in sports. And as long as I can ride my mountain bike to work every day, I will feel young and able to work. I think all those little problems I had recently are nothing compare to the terrible thing PeterP was going through one year ago... But you know for yourself Yogi, how disturbing our little health problems are, with regards to the fact that we are still restless and enthusiasted to enjoy life fully. Looking back on what has happened to me just one week ago, I can say that this year´s autumn season was shit... hopefully that the coming 5 months of winter before I travel to Thailand again will not have any more surprises for me. should I stay or should I go ??Hi ...... So I am now three weeks from my jaunt to Pattaya and I have to decide wether to lose my flight and stay in miserable England or go to Pattya . It may seem very easy for most guys , but I am not 100 % healthy and I am wary about putting myself into a bad situation thousands of miles from home . I have made no preperations for my trip apart from paying for the flight and having a 5,000 deposit on my room and I am tempted to wait , but deep down there is a bit of me urging me to go . I cannot get myself excited about this trip to Pattaya ( very unusual for me !!!! ) as I am more concerned about work , as I have yet to return since the 18 th of June . I am fit enough to walk around ( just ) but I would be much healthier by March and I am totally confused about what to do about Pattaya . I am rather annoyed as I was wanting to travel around Thailand this time , but that will have to wait until my fitness improves as I am keen to see what Thailand as to offer ( besides the obvious ) . My family have said that I must me mad to even think about going in my situation , but to be honest I only really want to go just to see if there is a woman in Pattaya that Jimmy mac has`nt bf !!!! . I will wait another week and then I will have to make a final decision ......one way or the other .

Analyse the issuesYogi, so sorry to hear that you are still crooked, I can understand your dilemma - sometimes the spirit needs to take precedence.But, much as I would love to see you here - I think you have to be practical. The goal is to get you fit and 'kickin' (sorry - couldn't resist it). So, ask yourself .... will a trip now contribute positively to that goal? Firstly, the flight. Unless you are flying Business Class, then the flight could well be agony. It will inevitably add to your swelling problems and you won't be able to have it up to drain/improve circulation. When you get here, the warm weather may actually be good for your problems. It certainly often helps people with arthritis. If walking is hard - then it will be very hard in Pattaya. The pavements/paths are a nightmare with trip-points and holes every metre or so. You should consider a chair - and a girl to push it around. Frankly, I think it ill be physically difficult and you may sap the spirit further due to frustration. Perhaps a better solution is to focus on doing whatever your Doctors tell you to do to get better and focus on achieving this by March. Sorry. Peter |

PATTAYA HERE I COME !!!Hi All ,firstly thanks for the words of wisdom ( mike and peter ), but my situation as improved considerably since my last email over a week ago . I have returned to work today for the first time since june 18 th ( light duties only ) and my enthusiasm as picked up , this is due to medication unfortunately . I have made no plans apart from the flight but I am ramping up my preperations and all being well I will be travelling to Pattaya in November . My major concern is the one which you highlighted Peter ( lousy pavements etc ) but to be honest I don`t do much walking in Pattaya and I tend to use baht buses or motor bike taxis ( like everybody else ) . I am now trying to sort out travel insurance and get my documentation sorted and I should be okay for March also ( still to book yet ) . I am looking forward to seeing the new ANNA JETS now that the cheque book as been out and I am looking forward to renewing friendships that I have made on previous visits ...... and mike I am not just talking about Bow ,
but I don`t wanna say too much about her or jimmy " under the thumb " mac will start enquiring !!!!!!! . I am also getting myself ready for some intense massages as previous aches have been taken away using this method and Jimmy I am talking here about " thai massage " not the ones that you go to at the top end of second road .
Anyway Jimmy how did your trip go down ......fantastic I bet and I am glad your buddies enjoyed themselves and all you have to do now is to start saving for your next jaunt .......make it in March and you can show me all the places where you " got lucky " . I must admit that I am really bitter about missing out on a trip up country as I like a change of pace away from the beer and women in pattaya . As for taxi’s I read on another board today that they are charging 1400 + tolls + 50 baht airport tax at the swamp. But this time I’m giving Pattaya limo a go as I’m going to BKK for 2 nights before I hit Pattaya. So will be ringing them once in country to book Hope that helps see you for a beer in AJ’s maybe we can plan a trip around some temples

I can´t go on travel right now... but was overthere in November 07. Was the wrong year for a November trip... eh !? But well... it´s o.k. like it is, because I will have my one month in Thailand in coming March and a trip to India in October or November 09. So, for me the sky is the limit... the future is wide open... or however you say in English. I´m looking forward to meet some of you fine lads overthere at AJ´s... in March or in near or far future. glad to hear you will soon be in pattaya yogi, makes me alittle jelous because im stuck here for the next few months but thats what its all about, its a holiday destination not where your breads buttered as we say. No trust me the massage girls take very good care of you up at the top end of the second road near soi 6( i had 2 me this trip just gone and it was 1900 baht well spent). Also this dr bow "under the thumb" comment lol whats it all about i mean please... jimmy mac the king butterfly under the thumb ???  .... Saying that the girls are starting to steer clear of me in some of my local beer bars because i bullshit apperently and take many ladies from the same bar???? maybe its time to change my ways or find some new bars (of course AJ is my local) just bars on soi 8. Yes i did get bow this trip and she took real good care of me i.e going to the pharmacy at daft o,clock in the morn and getting me a thai plug and small screwdriver of all things DONT ASK lol.

here we go .........again !!!!!!!!Hi guys ......... this is just a quickie before I depart for the airport in about 90 minutes .Thanks for the amusing posts Mike / Jim but I only go to Thailand for the culture ( like you Mike ) and I am afraid Jim being the King butterfly of Pattaya would`nt understand that people actually go to Pattaya for the culture , not the sleazy stuff that Jim is into . Jim you talked about doing other bars on soi 8 ...... I go to see Fon at the golden time bar ( near the bottom of soi 8 ) as she also visits AJ`s .......just for a change of pace and scenery !!! . My foot as been giving me problems all week , but its too late to back out as I am waiting for the taxi now , but I only finished getting organised last night at 22.50 . I will be checking in on the website while I am down in Pattaya , so if you need me to pass any messages on .....just post it and I will endeavour to see it through . To me "culture" is more about being together with real people in real life instead of visiting some legendary people´s architectural masterpieces of mythological history. Even those masterpieces are really amazing ( ...I have visited a few touristy places on my first trip in 2004 ), there is no escape from the other sort of "culture" overthere. But who wants to escape ? As for you, with your bad foot, I can only say that there is no better doctor than Dr Bow ( ...who knows all medicines ) and no better night nurse than "little Noi" ( Noi2 ) in town. But I´m sure you´ll find what is good for you ! All the best ! |

i guess you will be in thailand now enjoying all the temples and what not you lucky lucky bast*rd . Yes i know a few places you could pop into to widen your horizons as you put it lol. Obviously theres the soi 6 bars which route 69 and kiss cool are my favourite for the pure filth caliber of the girls(im sure you know what i mean.......... anything goes if the price is right) and its usually quite reasonable if you just negociate for a while as it very quite now and the girls are alittle skint so for a cheap charlie like me it was great , Me and one of my mates sneeked off this trip just gone and had a very interesting short time session with three girls on soi 6 (kiss cool) the room was 500 baht they wanted 900 because each girl wanted a cut of the 300 baht per hour standard rate.... dont think so  and then each girl wanted 500 baht a peice which was quite reasonable i thought. Also there is a good daytime short time bar on soi post office i think thats the soi anyway called nevada club, it opens at 12.00 noon and the ladies are always nice and livley if you dont want the sloppy seconds you get on soi 6 after every tom dick and harry has had a go by 3.00pm.
sorry if im sounding a bit crude about the ladies theres nothing personal mentioned e.g names, its just yogi wanted some good info on daytime dens to spend some well earned relaxation time in
anyway pass my reagards onto the aj ladies and of course dr bow (they will know me me as jimbo not jimmy mac)

Hello guys from PattayaHi Jim / Mike ....... firstly Mike I understand that Nui2 no longer works at AJ ( several girls confirmed that ) as for Dr Bow her face lit up like a christmas tree when I said that you hoped that she was okay and happy etc etc . I also said the same for Jim , but it took a while for her to realise who you were ....so I mentioned the trip to the shop in the early hours of the morning and I also mentioned that you were a king butterfly chasing skirt all over Pattaya .
joking apart guys she was genuiningly happy that both of you were asking about her ........... she even told me why mike calls her Dr Bow very good mike ........she laughed while telling me the story .
At first though it was quite difficult to convince her that you had not been telling all your bedroom secrets to the world and it took both myself and Peter to convince her that all that had been said was that she was a very sweet girl and nothing more . I bought her several drinks and she was keen to further this , but because I am a good man ( unlike Jim ) , the other reason was because my back as been causing me problems since arriving ( aircraft seating issues !!) . But all appears well now and I have several targets in sight ............ after I have feasted on the culture that is .
Jim thanks for the info on all the sleazy sex dens etc , but I wish that you would have helped me by saying if they were located to nearby templs etc etc as I need to get my bearings etc in Pattaya .......... I have no idea where this soi 6 is either .

They fear that we Farangs talk about all their secrets or recommend them in the internet. It´s difficult to convince them that I would never do so. Anyway... she knows for herself that I´m a quiet type of customer in the bar and that I would never approach to her or any other girl in a way like I´m going to buy a lifeless doll. Noi2... !? Well, she was my favorite companion last time I was overthere and I really would like to see her again. Don´t know if she is still working at AJs or not. Little NoiYo Jimbo... Noi2 was working in the bar during Songkran 08... I knew her from the year before.About the other two girls... well, I can only guess. The one in the middle had once worked at AJ´s... I remember her from my 2006 Songkran trip... I could be wrong, but her name was Ow or Oi. The other one I don´t know... but I had seen her around on my trips since 2004. I can only guess... but it looks like she was a freelancer who once worked at AJ´s as well and gives the bar a visit from time to time, especially on festival days. |

Ended up going to insomnia this trip just gone and after slagging it off in previous posts i had a real good time the music was just my kind of beats and the freelancing girls were amazing in more ways than dancing. From 'Anna's Birthday 08' pictures we can see Noi 2 was still working at AJ October 1 (see below). But I don't see any pictures of her in the November gallary.

Even an old Rock and Blues fan like me sometimes needs something different... so, Insomnia is one of the number one places to go in Pattaya.Maik... yup, that´s her ! She was the only AJ girl who ever knew me as "MekongMike" and I was the only Farang who ever called her "Little Noi". Favorite girls... !? Well, hard to say... I always had at least one favorite girl each stay in Pattaya, who got barfined by me more than one time. In 2004 and 2005 I was seriously in love to a girl who had never worked in bar and who never did the freelancer thing ( ...as far as I know ). When this "relationship" failed, I popped up at AJ´s in 2006... Fon ( ...who is not longer working in the bar ) became my favourite, even she turned out to be a little "Miss Moody". In April 2007 it was a girl named Daeng from another bar down Soi 7... and in November of the same year it was Ta of AJ´s... and a tiny little thing in stockings ( ...who actually was Cambodian ) from a go go bar in Soi Diamond. And last time, in April 2008, it was Noi2... Who is next ? Well, we will see... |

noi 2 updateHi Mike / Jim ........ Re: your enquiry on Noi 2 ....I was in AJ last night ( peter upstairs ) I asked Meaw and she says that she no longer works there , but could not check this with Peter .I also gave Meaw Jimmy Macs email address as Bow is out of town unti Tuesday Evening ( I believe ) as she as gone to Chiang Mai . I have only been to AJ twice so far and I will explain why as I am trying to convert a self confessed man hater that not all men are bad ( I will keep her away from you Jimmy King butterfly Mac ) . I did go in last Monday , but I was having back problems but I was quite taken with Lek as she as the looks and figure that I normally go for . I went into a bar ( can t say where ) and saw a girl who was quite shy and distant to the point of being rude . After a few sips of Sangsom I played her at the dice game and she started to loosen up a bit . I found out after bar fining her for the following nite how she as been used and abused by one foreign guy ( British ) and divorced with two babies ( thai man ) . She was hard work for two days ( trust me ) and now I am really enjoying her company four days on and she is ticking all the right boxes and I am seriously thinking of staying the rest of my Holiday with her as I am completely worn out ( for obvious reasons ) . I don t see this lady as a one night stand but a long term thai Girl friend and I treat her well even though I am treading on egg shells at times ............. and as every day passes she feels more and more comfortable with me ( same as myself ) . Every night we go to different nightclubs and each choose alternately nightly where we go , but we both like similar things pool , rock music etc . I am not saying this is a love story etc etc , I would like to show her a good time and to just convince her that not all men are as selfish and vile as her last man . I am not being suckered into anything ( trust me guys ) we are open and honest with each other and in three years as only been with 8 men ( allegedly ...but I believe ) as she is a real ice queen and is quite frosty to anybody especially men not really the sort of girl that you would have to fetch in the punters , but she is very picky and does nt really care about money ( to a certain extent ) and only goes with men who are open and genuine .....................the girl picked me .
