Great poster MakongMike. It really shows how AJ was in June. I specially like the picture where Peter is dancing because after a girl had forced me to dance by the poll Peter told me: “You must never do that again.”

But I agree with you: Once you´re in, you can´t get out anymore, even you are miles away. By the way, do you remember that some girls had spotted you in Patters even you was still in England ? With regards to our funny posts about that on UKBKK so long ago, I have a new theory: You are a "jumper" ! If you don´t know what a "jumper" is, have a look on this website: http://www.jumperthemovie.com/ Maik... I remember an episode at AJ´s in November 2007, when Peter was dancing on the pole. He tried to convince me to do the same... and I did... but stopped after 1 minute and apologized to all audiences, that my performance was bad for the bar´s business. Peter... I use the "Ulead Photo Impact 11" software and a small graphic tablet to clean up my photos and to make collages. As you know, I´m a lazy photographer... but sometimes I realy like to create collages. Unfortunately my lack of free time makes it impossible to do much. There are three others only... two of them show a Japanese movie monster marching through our swimming pools. The other one was a title illustration for my trip report in past April on UKBKK. I´m now thinking about a collage for Anna Jet... Well, here is the other Thai related one:

Lol... I guess you want to say that I should be careful of becoming addicted to image processing. Well, I´m already enthusiasted in making collages, even I hadn´t made so many. But in case I´ll get some more free time in future, collaging could be a great hobby... Nevertheless I should photograph by myself first instead of using the work of others for my collages. I remember my times in India during the 1990ties... I took more than 300 photos with a small pocket camera and after viewing the pics, people asked me what type of expensive camera equipment I had used. Must see if I ever find the time to scan the paperprints to get them here on my PC. I must say that I´ve become very lazy with photography in the past few years, even Thailand is a great place for photographers. By the way, I´m thinking about an Anna Jet collage. Your galleries on AJ´s website are a great source where I could find the right components... But I feel a little bit shy to use any photo of Anna... because I fear that she could be annoyed in case I choose a pic of herself which she don´t likes. That´s why I will not start collaging, unless you suggest a particular photo of Anna. I´m also not sure about the layout or background. Should it look like a movie poster or like something else ? It will take me some time to do it anyway. Summertime is a bad time for me to turn my idea into action. But I will see what I can do... latest in September. |

Duh ! What have I said ? I also have never seen a bad pic of Anna ! But as the Krautish gentleman I use to be, I always ask the ladies before I use their pics. Believe it or not, but I even ask the bargirls, unless they have an internet presence already. As for Anna: She is the boss ! And it doesn´t matters if her pics are online already or not ! I definitely must ask her ! About Peter... Well, I guess The Lord Of The Dance that he is has no problem with getting collaged, because it will make him more hansum... lol ! Cheers to all !

Well, I've seen some bad pictures on Anna - but I'd never have the nerve to post them on the net!
You are quite right Mike - it's much more difficult to find good pictures of me - although I always enjoy the one of Aom almost kissing my groin! I leave the theme of the collage up to you Mike - I'm sure it will be "in the best possible taste" |

Anna Jet CollageSo, here is my first try to make an Anna Jet collage.I´m not happy with the result, because Anna looks like she had a bad hair day and the back of Nooie´s head looks like she comes from another planet. Sorry for that, ladies ! I will try it again as soon as I get some time. 
But the guy in the background... Looks like Harrison Ford... eh !?

I think the Harrison Ford look-a-like makes the whole exercises worthwhile! Agree with you re Nooie's hair - but Anna looks OK. Thing that jars a bit with me is the hard, straight lines of the Anna Jet sign - can you soften the blend? |

I had copied the AJ sign from a screenshot of the AJ homepage. Next time I´ll try to create a new one, because I have various fonts here which can be used by working with PhotoImpact 11. I have also browsed your galleries and downloaded some pics of the girls and bar scenes for the next set of collages. Beside this, I surf the web for backgrounds and frames... But I´m more and more interested in creating my own designs. I haven´t expected that making funny collages would drive me that far:

As the old SciFi fan that I am ( ...only in literature ), I´m very impressed by those computer composed pics for Larry Niven´s "Ringworld" or Clarke´s "Rendesvouz with Rama" I hope that one fine day I find some time and the right software to make my own pics. But back to Anna Jet: The next AJ collage I would like to make should look like an illustrated advertisement, with logo, bar scenes and a lot of girls... but without any Indy character in the background. I will try my best. |
