I did right by not planning a trip to Thailand for a second time in this year, like I did in 2007 when I spent three weeks of my comp.time in Pattaya.
This year I have to face several problems at work and private, which are holding me back from taking a longer period of comp.time in one ride again.
At first there is the coming renovation of our 50 years old open air swimming pools.
Not that I have to work at the construction site. But the planning and the discussions with our future private partner ( …a company for swimming pool technology and construction ) is of major interest for me.
For some reasons I´m happy that we got this private partner and I see a good chance to make things better as our bureaucratic and nerdy municipal employer ever did in the past.
Second,- I have got some health problems… nothing worse, but enough to hold me back from going on travel right now.
Had some pain in knee and foot´s ankle of my left leg, which made me go limping through my daily duties.
The doctor´s found out that I have some arthrosis already, and that the cell tissue around my knee accumulates water.
Hell ! I´m not yet 40 years old ( …not before 30 December this year ) and do sports all the time !
Why I get all this ?
I felt like an old man for some time and had to stay at home for two weeks, before I could resume my duties.
I´m feeling much better now, but became as same busy as before with work at various sport facilities in my town.
All this is holding me back from making a new Anna Jet collage and from going on travel again.

Nevertheless I made my booking for next year´s trip.
I will arrive in Pattaya on 09 March 2009… late afternoon time… and will pop up at AJ´s in the evening of the same day.
Another four weeks in Thailand… yeah !
After all the plannings and stuff for the new swimming pools, I´m sure that I´m going to be a specialist by this time, who can help you Peter, just in case you want to make a swimming pool upstairs on the Anna Jet Terrace… lol !

Hi Mike, it's good to know you are on the mend - the problem with the knee is probably because you exercise!

Look forward to seeing you next Spring - alas we no longer have Ta to entertain you - and Bow sounds dangerous! Never mind, there are lots more and more coming every day!

Whoa. I was referring to something Mike wrote once about his experience with Bow. I meant Bow was dangerous for Mike!
