just to ask about the wireless internet you have installed at annajets at the moment, as ive just bought a new sony laptop and will be bringing it with me this time with lots of new music on Laughing

. also whats the connection speed of the internet like is it ok for streaming data or just general browsing?? also have you got some were i can lock it up overnight as its too big for the in room safes.

p.s i heard you saw my dad one afternoon just gone the bald bastard lol

Shouldn't be a problem - we pay for a 3mbs download (1mb upload)- of course, this is Thailand, so we don't get that - but it's fast enough for streaming - certainly for music.

NB. Don't know if you listen to ShoutCast - but 1.FM Dance is well worth listening to - get a special Shoutcast player (Google "ESP" - it tunes in to Shoutcast - as does WinAmp - but what is special is that it will record the stream (1.FM streams at 128) and collect the MP3 tag info and record each track as a separate file. It's really good - just leave it for a few hours then review all teh files - discard the adverts (each will have it's own file) and then stick it on your player!

I digress. We still have padlockable lockers, behind a locked door accessable from behind the bar counter. You should leave the Lap Top there. We have never had an issue/problem. Incicentially, Wi-Fi works in the bar - so you can sit watching the girls all going to work and use your lap top!

I would never bring my laptop with me to Thailand, because I´m really not interest to surf the web whilst being on holidays.
For posting my trip reports at UKBKK, I use to give MissOnline a visit in her shop at Flipper House, at least two or three times a week.
