YouTube videos on my blogspot.com pageA few months ago, I added the YouTube video player to the links list of my blogspot.com page.
I did so, because I wanted to spice up the blog´s layout with the latest AJ videos.
PeterP´s and Banksy´s videos were just great... and so, I set the video player to search for the latest AJ stuff on YouTube, by typing the keywords "Anna Jet", "Soi 7" and "Pattaya" into the player´s search bar.
Everything worked fine... for a while.
The readers of my blog were now able to watch Banksy´s and Pete´s AJ videos, whenever the long texts of my blog became too boring.
But suddenly, when I opened the blog page two weeks ago, some other videos appeared in the thumb nail list.
Videos of other places in Pattaya as well as music clips and stuff like "Anna On A Jet Ski".
I tried to change the setting by choosing channels, named with Pete´s and Banksy´s YouTube account names I found in the main YouTube window.
But it didn´t work... some other videos returned after a while.
Does anybody know how I can fix this ?
I´m looking for a solution that is different from the simple video in the blog text ( ...which I did with the Lord Of The Rings link in blog entry "Beyond The Green Curtain" )
I have removed the YouTube video player from my blog for the moment, till I find a better gadget or method to show the latest AJ videos.

You tubeMike, I have never tried to use a search in this way. I guess Google and You Tube have made some changes to how the search works. Why don't you try the Help Forums on You Tue?

Thanks Pete... I´ll check out the help forum later.
The YouTube video player is a gadget for blog pages at blogspot.com and works like an automatic search engine.
Once a blogger/user has typed in search criterias ( in my case everything that is tagged with Anna Jet or Soi 7 ), the engine provides the search results as thumb nail gallery beside the blog text.
By clicking on one of the thumb nails, the reader of my blog can view the video in a small window, without leaving my page and without getting directed to the main YouTube window.
Alternatively I can choose the name of your or Banksy´s YouTube account (channel), instead of using the search engine.
But this doesn´t works on my page, even it should work... dunno why !
Will try to check things out later.
