I can well understand the frustration that this guy obviously feels, how would you feel if you had been looking forward to night on Soi Cowboy and suddenly your flight gets cancelled!

But again, hear it first hand. I've just spent two nights in Bangkok - looking at the Princess Galliani exhibition and her crematorium. Beautiful and very touching.

So I was travelling around from Nana to the Royal Palace, riverboat to Stephan Taxin - skytrain, metro, Siam Paragon.

I had two very raunchy nights on Soi Cowboy  Twisted Evil .

I drove home on the Trat/Chonburi Highway.

I didn't wear a yellow or red shirt.

I had a great mini break.

Thailand is politically in Chaos - but life goes on and I'm enjoying it!

Yes, we are all angry and sad about the closure of the Airport - it will massively inconvenience important customers - who will think twice about coming here again.

It also creates an atmosphere that will put off investors.

But lets put it in context. How many European Baggage Handler strikes occur annually?

Postal worker's strikes?

Petrol Tanker Driver strikes?

Dock workers?

As the Thais would say... "Jai yin"

Yo, Pete... I can not fully agree with you this time, because a postal workers´strike isn´t the same like a nationwide political crisis.
I still have my concerns... not for me as a traveller, but for Thailand and the Thai people.
Hope all this will come to a peaceful end soon.
The present situation would not hold me back from going on travel, if I would be booked on a flight in the next few days.
I´ve just heard in the news, that several German airlines have canceled all their flights to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi... and that some travel agencies have canceled their Thailand package tour programs till this crisis is over.
So, I´m still looking forward to my next trip in March... I´m booked on a scheduled Thai Airways flight... and I think they will definitely fly, whilst Krautish Airways will not.
