Hi Guys ....... I am booked up for March but I am bitterly dissapointed that Jimmy " King Butterfly " mac is`nt going as I wanted a personal tour of all his sleazy haunts ........and the boy is only 21 ............ and he is already a King Butterfly . I am going for 16 nights ( I think !!! ) and return back in the U. k on the 29 th of March . I will be around to see Mike and anybody else who wants to sample some of Pattayas sleaziest drinking pits ......theres simply so many .
I have ditched the hotel this time as I want to sample other things and I am in an apartment this time on second road ( near Tim Bar Beer ) and it will be a new experience for me . I had been looking at Metro apartments ( montys speaks highly of this place ) and the rock house on soi LK METRO , but thats the problem .....I want to move away from this area as it is no longer interesting for me .
regards yogi
p.s jimmy mac speaks highly of Lolitas ....... come on Jim ....you must have been and the Hell club ...... no doubt
I sussed out the problem with the photos ........ eventually !!!

Hi guys !
I share your enthusiasm in the things Pattaya has to offer ( ...even I´m not after a Eden/Hell Club experience )
But, remember what admin once said: WATCH OUR LANGUAGE !!!
It is well known that some Thai autorities surf the web on search for websites with offensive contents against Thai people... and that many websites got censored or banned from the internet, which means that nobody can view the sites or post at the boards anymore from LOS.
In our case, AJ´s forum would disappear from the web !
Remember that this board can be viewed by everybody around the world... not only by members.
Somebody could misunderstand our posts badly... so, let´s be polite in everything we write and post.
As for your March booking, Yogi:
Congratulations !
You are able to buy me a beer !
Cheers ! _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

Hi Mike ....Yeah ... I am inclined to agree with you about the content of some of our posts which basically goes onto a open forum .....I know from my point of view this is just playful , boyish enthusiasm ( like Jimmy ) but sometimes these posts can be a little close to the mark . I probably joke around too much ( this as been said before ) , but I find it hard to be serious at times and I dare say Jimbo is likewise .......... but to be honest I would prefer to be like this than to get paranoid about everything in life ( taking life too seriously ).
If you look at the number of views on this site it is considerably more than the number of active members , which means Peter and Anna have a huge fan base ( somewhere ) , I just wonder if any of these people have ever ventured into AJ at all , or they just like to read about our adventures in LOS . I suppose one solution to this would be a forum where only members were able to read and contribute ( this as certain advantages ) ........ but I think Peter wants an open forum where like minded individuals can express themselves to a certain degree .
Does anybody else want to express their own views ........ come on guys ...... theres not just Myself , Mike and Jimbo registered here ......join in and have a laugh with us ....its more fun than just reading our posts .

Hi people
as yogi said to the other members of the annajet forum, you are more than welcome to join in and encoureged by all of us who post everyday. And maybe we do sometimes get alittle too close to the mark but from my experience from pattaya addicts froum and the kind of chat that goes on there i would say annajets forum is more than safe for the time being..
P.s just another one of my honeys to look at when you get board

Hi Yogi, hi Jim !
A forum where only members can read and post ?
I don´t think that this would be a good idea in our case, because this forum is linked to the official website of Anna Jet bar.
I understand PeterP´s / admin´s idea of an open forum... A "members only" forum section like at other boards wouldn´t be a good promotion for the bar... It would look like Anna/Peter or we have something to hide from the public... which we definitely have not !
So, this board´s admin has to decide where we go... and as long as he is not announcing any conceptual changes, we should obey to his ( the board´s ) rules.
Freedom of speech ? Yes !
But remember what admin once said:
"Don´t forget that you are shouting in a crowded room !"
So, make no difference between the crowded rooms in real life and in the web, because the people who would be annoyed in real life are not so different from the people who would be annoyed after reading our posts in the web.
But a crowded room in the web is more fragile.
In real life we would just annoy some people, with the result that we, the shouters, have to face all consequences... But in the web our shouting could destroy the room itself... a bad consequence for all AJ and Thailand fans, even for those who haven´t shouted in the same way like we did ! _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

Thanks for that Mike.
Jim, congratulations on dumping the Soi 6 signature pic - that was fun for a couple of posts - but began to drag! This one is much prettier. I think you should take it on yourself to have a fresh (?) one each time!
Do you guys want me to allow aviators (or whatever they are called)? I've kept them off because I always turn them off on other boards - often they take up far more screen space than the post and the amusing ones fail to impress after 4-5 post in a thread.
What I would like to see would be real pictures of you guys - obviously I know a number but there are some people that I don't recognise - but would like too. _________________ www.annajet.co.uk |

Aviators... ?
I guess you meant "Avatars", Pete.
The word "Avatar" comes from Sanskrit language and means epiphany of a god on Earth... and some open minded Hindus use to say that not only their Krishna/Rama was an avatar, but also Buddha and Jesus.
In our times "Avatar" found it´s way into computer related terms, as a description of the epiphany of a PC user in cyber-space...
...Oh, I sound like a preacher already,- sorry !
To answer your question:
I personally don´t care if a board´s admin would allow avatars or not... But if you would allow them, I would definitely set one into my profile.
I fully understand why you prefer to see the posters´pics instead of any funny cartoons or girl pics as avatars.
AJ´s forum is different from other Thai related forums in the web, because it is linked to a real meeting point in real life.
The posters here are potential customers of Anna Jet bar and guesthouse.
Therefore we, the posters, should be so fair to give admin a chance to identify or remember us.
So, if I would be admin of this site, I would allow the avatar setting, but with the term that the poster´s photo is allowed only.
I would delete any funny pic that has been set as avatar, because there is plenty of space in the forum to upload such pics.
The one who doesn´t likes to show his face, should just keep the avatar space in his/her profile empty.
Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year !
All the best,
Mike
