Yo Peter... I can only second what Kennyboy has said here ! I guess, youīve read my reply in the blogs already.
By the way, have you received my PM which I had send to Admin a few days ago ?
Kennyboy, I must confess that I was a little bit confused when I received the e-mail notification about this topicīs title "Peters Last Blog", because it sounded like Peter says Goodbye and is going to to shut down the website or close the bar...
But I guess this was caused by the simple fact that English is not my mother tongue... If you would have wrote "Peterīs recent blog entry", I wouldnīt have been concerned at all.
Note: This is not a complaint ! Itīs more a funny comment on the last...ere recent blog entry, for the amusement of you fine English/Scottish lads out there, about an old Krautīs desperate attempts to understand English...
So, carry on with posting right in the way you want it !
Cheers ! _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

This just goes to show that whatever you try to do in life there is always some dickhead wanting to put the damperners to a point where is spoils it for everyone involved. I myself havent got nothing to hide and try to get snappted in annajets as much as possible on my trips but i have sort of got to understand people who dont want to be in the photos for certain reasons, but if you are sneeking off from your wife/girlfriend you should be alittle more careful. Just a quite word like pete said would of been enough but the guy obviously was a prick about the matter and decided to confront a women instead .
P.s also would like to ask pete if you could put a pic or two of me up on the main page slide show which changes every few mins if its not too much trouble???

Thanks for the support Guys.
Jim, it's not actually a slide show - it's a reload driven piece of Javascript. So every time the page is loaded it randomly selects from a set of pictures - there are about 10 if I remember correctly.
It's been a year or so since I looked at the choices - so I'll look at what to add to the list.
Did I hear "Get the man a glass of red wine"? _________________ www.annajet.co.uk |

Well instead of a tiny glass i will bring you a bottle over next time im over as im a red wine drinker myself and know quite a few nice bottles. That would be great if you could just put a pic or two of me and my mates up if its not too much trouble just gets a bit boring seeing the same pics over and over again when i log in everyday lol.

No, no, no... Kennyboy !
Please continue writing and speaking in the way you want to do !
Where would the world go in case an old Kraut like me would have the right to critisize English peopleīs English ?
I want to hear and read the common slangs of real people in real life... not that what is written in school books.
The chances that I misunderstand or simply donīt understand right in the first moment are always good... and thatīs where the fun begins !!!
About getting used of this form of communication:
Itīs the same here !
I began working with PC and internet just 4 years ago.
Before that I had my typewriter and an old Atari ST home computer ...which died in a small cloud of smoke that came out through the harddiskīs ventilation grid. _________________ http://mekongmike.blogspot.com/

| mike this communication in this forum has made me look forward to my holiday more due to fact you get a feeling.... most the people you meet and blog with are the type of company you would have a beer with. it has also made me realise a should have in the past talked more to some of the staff that work in annas... as a regular visitor and quiet myself at times i used to be more a observer than participant in all the action in annas but i do believe next time will be slightly different thanks to this site.. |
